Hi everyone!
Well, today I thought I would write to you about some of the enrichment we give the pandas to keep them active, mentally stimulated and of course having fun! I have taken a few video clips of the pandas using some of their enrichment items over the past few days to show you all what fun they have here. Hopefully Monique, who is the amazing, hard working person that puts this blog together for all of you, has managed to put up some of them for all of you.
Enrichment is a very important part of a keepers job and, depending on what animals you work with, it can take up a lot of a keepers day!

Hi everyone,Well the time has come for me to say goodbye to all of you for 7 weeks as I am taking leave to go get married! I get hitched on the 27th February and then am going on an amazing honeymoon all over South East Asia! Of course I am getting my animal fix and am going orangutan trekking in Borneo, elephant meeting in Thailand and of course going to see the pandas in Chiang Mai! They had a cub born last year so I am very eager to see it and their facility.

I just want to mention the Behind the Scene tours that are about to get up and running over here at the panda house.
