Hi everyone,Well the time has come for me to say goodbye to all of you for 7 weeks as I am taking leave to go get married! I get hitched on the 27th February and then am going on an amazing honeymoon all over South East Asia! Of course I am getting my animal fix and am going orangutan trekking in Borneo, elephant meeting in Thailand and of course going to see the pandas in Chiang Mai! They had a cub born last year so I am very eager to see it and their facility.

Hi everyone. Sorry it has been a while again since my last blog. We have been so busy over here!
Hope you all enjoyed watching the video clip of Matt and Chris, two of the other panda keepers, taking Wang Wang’s temperature. He is such a good, well behaved panda! And yes he does love his food! Seems he would do anything for it... Funi is exactly the same as well, she loves her treats. We use panda cake, that I have previously spoken about, and carrot and apple for training and enrichment. Wang Wang loves it all, however Funi refuses to touch the carrot! She is an apple girl all the way! As something different we give them apple and carrot ice blocks for them to play with. They both love them, especially Funi….but again if we have put carrot in them it will be left! She is a real cutie with it…picking it up in her paws and holding it tightly so she can get to the apple.
